Button Types

Primary (solid)

Use a primary button for the most important action on a page. Limit the number of primary buttons on a page.

Secondary (outline)

Use a secondary button for actions that are secondary to the primary call to action. This is the default button that should be used in most cases.

Tertiary (flat)

Use a tertiary button for non-critical actions. While the tertiary button visually looks like a link, it should be used as a button. Tertiary buttons should always be paired with another button.
